Formally know as the Scout Shop, Southern Adventure has been trading since 1965 originally in Dee St selling Scouting goods, before moving and expanding to bigger premises in Tay St in 1988.
Southern Adventure is pleased to be a locally owned and operated business owned by SANZ-Murihiku Zone. The business has grown over the years to now offering an extensive range of tramping, camping and hunting products. We are pleased to be a major sponsor of Scouting in Southland helping out the Scouting community.
We are well known locally for offering friendly and attentive customer service and for having an extensive product range with competitive pricing against the biggest stores. We are also pleased to be part of the Kiwi Outdoors Group of independently owned stores like us throughout New Zealand, who collectively buy and source goods so we can offer better deals than our competition to our customers.
